PV Racking Mounts First Solar Powered Mobile Medical Clinic

Southampton, PA, June 23, 2012 --(PR.com)-- PV Racking is proud to be a part of the first solar powered “Clinic-in-a-Can” by the non-profit company Hospitals of Hope of Wichita, Kansas. Apex Solar of San Jose, California, designed and installed the 2.64 kilowatt solar structure.

The solar installation will power air conditioning, lighting and, most importantly, medical equipment for the clinic. Clinic-In-A-Can was designed to serve as a fully functional and sustainably powered medical clinic and has been deployed throughout the world in places such as, Haiti and South Sudan. The PV Racking no-clamp system provides a strong, secure and sleek racking solution that is easy to assemble and has the ability to withstand hurricane grade wind speeds.

The owner of Apex Solar, Farrel Williams commented on how easy the PV Racking system was to work with and how easy it was to install on the roof of the Clinic-in-a-Can structure. He stated, “We were looking for a racking system that would install quickly by untrained workers and PV Racking was the obvious choice.”
