Dental Implant Learning Center Presents Club Implant Cadaver Course

Club Implant Cadaver Course is presented by Dental Implant Learning Center, New Jersey. It’s a 2 days Hands-On Course will be held on August 27, 2012 and August 28, 2012.

Englewood, NJ, June 24, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Dental Implant Learning Center, located at Englewood Dental at 370 Grand Avenue, Englewood, NJ, will be presenting a New York American Academy of Implant Dentistry Study Club Implant Cadaver Course in Parsippany, NJ. The two day, hands-on course will be held on Monday, August 27 and Tuesday, August 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m and will offer 24 Continuing Education credits and is AGD approved. The Zimmer Institute is a state of the art teaching facility located at 10 Pomeroy Road in Parsippany, NJ.

Dr. John Minichetti and Dr. Edgar El Chaar will be co-instructors. Lectures will include suturing, soft tissue grafts, bone grafting, socket preservation, ridge augmentation with membrane, CurV techniques, autogenous block grafting, allograft block grafting, lateral and crestal sinus grafting techniques, osteotoming and immediate implant placement. Participants will have the opportunity to perform implant surgery, bone grafting, soft tissue grafting and anatomic dissection on cadavers.

Dr. John C. Minichetti, Director of The Dental Implant Learning Center, is a general dentist who has been placing and restoring dental implants for over 25 years. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). He is a Fellow and Honorary Fellow of the AAID, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. He is an attending at Englewood and Meadowlands Hospitals. He is Vice President of the AAID and serves on their Board of Trustees. He has published numerous scientific articles and has lectured worldwide on the subject. He maintains a private practice in Englewood, NJ.

Dr. Edgar El Chaar is a Clinical Associate Professor for the Department of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry. He is the Director of Implant Education for the Continuing Dental Education Programs at the New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. El Chaar is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Founder of the AAID New York Study Club, and Director of the EEC Institute that provides mentor/coaching surgical courses. He serves on the Editorial Board and is a reviewer for the Journal of Oral Implantology. Dr. El Chaar runs his private practice in New York City.
