Mandatory Insurer Reporting to be Topic at Workers' Compensation Educational Conference

“The Eye in the Sky: Mandatory Insurance Reporting” will be offered during the August 19-23 Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference at the Orlando World Center Marriott.

Orlando, FL, June 29, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The combination of technology, government requirements, and workers’ compensation can be a minefield for employers and insurers. To help stakeholders navigate the route, a presentation of “The Eye in the Sky: Mandatory Insurance Reporting” will be offered during the August 19-23 Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference at the Orlando World Center Marriott.

Panel members will be Scott Huber, vice president of information and technology at Gould & Lamb in Bradenton, and Jeff Gurtcheff, vice president and general manager of PMSI in Tampa.

The two experts will add a much needed technical component to mandatory insurer reporting as they address its purpose and expound on reporting triggers, errors and challenges, as well as the consequences enumerated by Section 111 of the Medicare/Medicaid SCHIP Extension Act of 2007.

The session will be presented on Tuesday, August 21.
