New Book in the Works from Susan and Gary Malone

Publication Date to be Announced Shortly for the Book “What’s Wrong With My Family?”

Dallas, TX, June 30, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Susan Mary Malone (http://www.maloneeditorial.com), a developmental editor who has helped 35 clients get books published through traditional publishing houses, is working on a new book as an author herself, entitled “What’s Wrong With My Family?” The book is being co-written between Ms. Malone and her brother Gary Malone, MD.

The 2012 publication date will be announced soon. This will be Ms. Malone’s 5th book title, her 4th non-fiction. Other writing credits from Ms. Malone include the book (also co-written with her brother) “Five Keys For Understanding Men: A Woman’s Guide,” “Fourth And Long: The Kent Waldrep Story,” and the novel “By the Book.”

Ms. Malone commented on the upcoming release: “I’m very happy to be back at the ‘writing table.’ This book is about families, the ‘ideal family’ (hint: none of us have it!). It also gives a straight look at how a family is raised, with practical advice on the damages and gifts received in the process and what we can do with them. We’re still in the writing process now, but the book is well underway and we’ll be announcing the publication date as soon as we have it.”

Susan Mary Malone has worked as a freelance editor since 1993, with a BS in Political Science and minors in English and Journalism. Her client list includes NY Times Bestsellers, Essence Bestsellers and books featured in Publishers Weekly. She is also an award-winning author of fiction and non-fiction herself. She participates as a speaker in literary conferences such as the Harriett Austin Writer's Conference (at the University of Georgia), the Blue Ridge Writer's Conference, the SouthWest Writer's Conference, and the East Texas Writer’s Guild, among others. She will be presenting at the upcoming Lexicon Writer’s Conference in July, 2012. Her full biography and featured list of published authors can be viewed at http://www.maloneeditorial.com.
