Actor Jimmy McNichol is 51 Years Old & Back

This week, actor Jimmy McNichol celebrates his 51st birthday with bittersweet memories and the release of “Night Warning” on DVD.

Los Angeles, CA, July 06, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Actor, musician, environmentalist Jimmy McNichol, (a.k.a. James Vincent McNichol III) is celebrating his 51st birthday on July 2nd, and his return to TV and film. From the late 1960’s to the early 1990’s, actor Jimmy McNichol’s face was “the face seen everywhere” on television and the big screen, which is exactly the tagline CBS television used when it created a variety special for the teenage Jimmy to host. Jimmy and his two-time Emmy Award winning sister Kristy McNichol, were arguably the most popular brother/sister team in the entertainment industry.

McNichol moved away from California when he married and had children, and he has spent years as a prominent environmentalist and real estate developer. However, the phone never stopped ringing for McNichol to return to Hollywood. Now, with his children older, McNichol has finally decided to return to TV and film.

In fact, McNichol only disappeared from in front of the camera. McNichol continued to tour with his band and play concerts; especially making time to play concerts benefiting charity and ecological awareness. Additionally, the environmentalist McNichol, is the proprietor of the production company Auroa Entertainment, and he has produced several ecological awareness TV productions, such as Planet View TV, which had top celebrity guests including: Sting, Pierce Brosnan, and Gene Hackman.

Although McNichol is excited about the release of the feature film “Night Warning” on DVD, a movie he starred in with Academy Award nominated actress Susan Tyrrell; his feelings are bittersweet with the recent death of Ms. Tyrrell. McNichol described Tyrrell as, “one of the best actresses I have worked with.” A statement such as this, coming from McNichol, is no small affair. Especially being, McNichol has worked with several Oscar nominated, and Academy Award winning actors, including Jill Clayburgh, Shirley Knight, and Richard Jaeckel.

McNichol has moved back to Los Angeles with his production company Auroa Entertainment and is negotiating several offers to make guest star appearances on some of the top TV shows, and also, he is planning a return to feature film. McNichol is represented by Stephen Breimer at Bloom, Hergott, Diemer, Rosenthal, LaViolette, Feldman, Schenkman & Goodman, LLP.
