Jupiter, FL, July 09, 2012 --(PR.com
)-- The National Golf Foundation announced launched the 2012 American Golf Census Sweepstakes on July 4th, 2012. Now in its third year, the American Golf Census continues to count the country’s estimated 26 million golfers and give away some of the most spectacular golf prizes in the process.
Golfers can register with the Census by filling out a brief form at www.AmericanGolfCensus.org. For participating in the Census, every golfer is automatically entered into a sweepstakes to win one of more than 80 golf prizes. The Grand Prize winner will be invited as NGF’s guest to the golf industry’s biggest trade show, in January of 2013 in Orlando, FL, where all of the newest golf equipment and apparel will be on display. After the trade show the NGF will fulfill the winner’s golf wish list with up to $5,000 worth of goods and services. Other prizes include tickets to all four 2013 Major Championships, and the latest equipment and gear from TaylorMade, Callaway, Nike and others.
Previous Census Sweepstakes winner Bud Brickell won a trip to the 2012 U.S. Open. “Thank you so much for the U.S. Open tickets,” said Bud. “Being on the course at The Olympic Club and watching the best golfers in the world was an incredible experience that both my grandson and I will remember forever.”
The American Golf Census presents golfers with a unique opportunity to be counted in support of the game. The information obtained in the American Golf Census improves industry research and communications capabilities, stimulating rounds played and equipment sales.
“We are excited about the third year of the American Golf Census,” says Dr. Joe Beditz, President & CEO of the NGF. “Hundreds of thousands of golfers have stood up to be counted, and this expanding audience is already having an impact on key industry initiatives and campaigns.”
Official rules, regulations, major sponsors and a complete list of prizes can be found on the official website www.AmericanGolfCensus.org. The American Golf Census is also being promoted through the support of golf course and business partners, print/online advertising, email marketing and direct mail.
