Boulder, CO, July 11, 2012 --(PR.com)-- MyHorse Daily, a new online community featuring daily articles from industry experts, how-to videos and horse care tips, will host a live “Ask the Author” webinar with Leslie Desmond, co-author of True Horsemanship Through Feel, to discuss the teachings and beliefs of natural horsemanship pioneer Bill Dorrance at 9 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, October 10. To register for the webinar, please visit: https://www3.gotomeeting.com/register/325470406.

The word “feel” is thrown a lot when it comes to horses, but what is it exactly, and how do you develop this prized horsemanship quality? Bill Dorrance was one of the founding fathers of natural horsemanship and offers his legendary advice in the book True Horsemanship Through Feel. During the last few years of his life, Dorrance accepted Leslie Desmond as an apprentice so she could learn about his teachings and philosophies as they pertained to horses and record this into what became the book True Horsemanship Through Feel. For four years, the pair trained horses, put on demonstrations and held clinics around California as Desmond wrote the classic text on horsemanship.

“True Horsemanship Through Feel with Leslie Desmond” is a free event during which listeners can ask questions and share their insights in a thought-provoking online conversation. To register, please go to: https://www3.gotomeeting.com/register/325470406.
