Art in the Zoo by Artists in the Park

Art in the Zoo by Artists in the Park (AIP). At Trailside Museums and Zoo - Children of all ages can sculpt clay, paint and draw in the beautiful and inspirational setting of Trailside. Saturday, July 28, 2012 (rain date July 29) - Beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Bear Mountain, NY, July 12, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Join the Artists in the Park at Trailside Museums and Zoo and try your hand at creating works of art in a variety of media. Children of all ages can sculpt clay, paint and draw in the beautiful and inspirational setting of Trailside.

There is not a separate admission fee for the zoo. Donations are welcome. There is a $8.00 parking fee at Bear Mountain State Park.

Trailside Museums & Zoo is part of the Palisades Interstate Park Commission. Artists in the Parks (AiP) is a program of the Palisades Interstate Park Commission (PIPC) that positions artists as essential partners in the conservation, education, and community initiatives of parks. This program creates opportunities for creative growth and public exposure for local artists, and encourages artistic exploration of the Palisades region. In all that we do, we aim to nurture a love, understanding, and respect for the natural world.
