A School Project Enables a Breakthrough Into the Music Industry

Bern, Switzerland, July 16, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Newcomer André Zommerfelds is thrilled to announce the release of his first EP “Feel The Music.” A school project helped him to achieve his dream.

The goal of the project is to find out if he, as a newcomer to the business, can efficiently market and sell his music. Since the beginning of the project he has been recording and editing his songs at home and has now been able to complete and publish his first EP ”Feel The Music.”

André says, “I always wanted to record and sell my music. A school project gave me the opportunity I was looking for. Now the whole world can listen to my songs and my music can be bought on iTunes. It is an amazing experience.”

He lived in Brazil until 2003 before moving to Switzerland. He grew up with different Brazilian music styles which in turn influence his own work. In Switzerland he leaned to play the saxophone and gathered his first stage experiences. At the age of 15 he taught himself to play guitar and also composed his first pieces.

His songs are influenced by indie music and acoustic rock, but his Brazilian roots gives his music a Brazilian flair of Bossa Nova. The EP is already released and can be listened at his website.

Buy his EP on iTunes or other music stores to support his school project.
