BAFTA Winner Doug Allan Signs Up to Timeframe HD

TimeframeHD today revealed that intrepid Arctic adventurer and cinematographer Doug Allan, described by Sir David Attenborough as the “toughest in the business,” has been signed up as a contributor of time-lapse stock footage.

Rodborough Common, United Kingdom, July 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Timeframe’s Creative Director, Richard Kirby is delighted that his longstanding friend and colleague has joined the growing number of world class photographers coming to the site. “We’ve known and worked with Doug for many years and it’s great to have him on board. He is exactly the calibre of cinematographer that we want to attract. Timeframe is all about quality both technical and creative and Doug is a genius at both,” says Kirby.

Doug is best known for his work above and below the ice in the polar regions of our planet; areas he knows better than anyone else alive. He has twice been awarded the Polar Medal for his incredible contribution to Polar exploration. His preference for extreme and remote locations has taken him all over the world to some of the most far-flung destinations imaginable, places like Easter Island - the subject of his latest time-lapse material. Their mantra at Timeframehd, “extraordinary footage from extraordinary places,” is exemplified by this submission. With Timeframe currently in a period of rapid expansion, the acquisition of top class material like Doug’s Easter Island footage, is not only thrilling but also an absolute priority.

You can read about Doug’s extraordinary adventures at both Poles in his new book ‘Freeze Frame” and view Doug’s Easter Island footage on the Timeframe site imminently.
