2ndMe Brings Their Avatar Experience to Facebook

Torrance, CA, July 23, 2012 --(PR.com)-- 2ndMe, a fast growing service for Second Life residents, released an application for Facebook users, so they can enjoy 2ndMe Store & avatar constructor and stay in touch with their friends at the same time. In addition, Facebook users can see their friends’ avatars and share their own.

2ndMe was launched in June 2011 and originally provided flash-based and easy-to use Second Life avatar constructor with 2ndMe Store. Later, 2ndMe Team introduced photo-to-avatar conversion service, which was later enhanced with manual avatar finishing by a designer and Second Life style creation.

Earlier, Second Life users, who had accounts on Facebook, had to create another account on 2ndMe and could only embed their avatar via IFrame. This limited users’ sharing & socializing opportunities.

At first, 2ndMe introduced easy login, so users with a Facebook account can join 2ndMe in just a few clicks. Several weeks later, 2ndMe App for Facebook was introduced. It brings all features of 2ndMe, like Store and Avatar constructor, to Facebook without any limitations. Moreover, Facebook users can see their friends’ avatars and share their own.

For their further plans, the 2ndMe Team announced further enhancement of apparel range in the Store up to 3 000 items. Also, 2ndMe is still open for negotiations with investors.
