Spokane, WA, July 26, 2012 --(PR.com
)-- OutColors.com opened their website doors today offering a large selection of personalized products and gifts specifically for the gay community. "This is a one of a kind website where the gay community can create personalized one of a kind products online," said Kurt Schmierer the company's president.
OutColors.com is a place where gay people can shop with comfort amongst peers. Schmierer said that he couldn't find products or gifts that appealed to him or his gay friends so he decided to build a website with a large assortment of products that would appeal to the gay community. "The problem is that there are just not enough products available explicitly for gay people to offer much of a selection. I recognized the only way to provide a substantial number of unique products is to make them myself but that wasn't practical. It dawned on me to enable my customers to make their own one of a kind products right from my website and that's what I did," Schmierer said.
The OutColors.com website carries over three hundred customizable products including jewelry, blankets, mugs, t-shirts, crystal and many other unusual and unique products. All Outcolors.com products can be customized to anyone's imagination. The website provides an online design center to allow customers to upload their own photos and use them to create one of a kind gifts. "Regardless of one's artistic talent, the company's online design center enables customers to become creative and artistic," Schmierer said. Gifts can be designed usually in about two minutes.
The company plans to continue to add new products and features each month. "We are already receiving a lot of interest from the gay community and people are recommending my website," said Schmierer.
Schmierer hopes to make outcolors.com a gathering place for shopping and chatting. He plans on adding a chat room where his shoppers can blog about their experiences of designing unique products on his website.
Schmierer said, "I am very pleased to be able to contribute to the gay community and open our doors to a shopping experience that is unlimited to the wants and needs of my peers."
