Wainwright will represent Region 3 on the NCACCT board, which includes Alamance, Davidson, Durham, Forsyth, Guilford, Piedmont, Randolph, Rockingham, Vance-Granville and Wake technical community colleges. He was elected by the 805 trustees who represent North Carolina’s 58 community colleges. His four-year term began this month.

“Ron’s willingness to share his gifts with the NCACCT is another indicator of his genuine and long-standing commitment to the work of community colleges in our state,” said Dr. Stephen Scott, president of Wake Technical Community College. “We wish him the best in his new role.”
