Rocky Top Hospitality Celebrates 2012 Olympics with Beers and Burgers from Around the World

Locally-Owned Rocky Top Hospitality Restaurants Go Global in Honor of the London Games.

Raleigh, NC, August 01, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Dean Ogan, owner of Rocky Top Hospitality (http://www.rockytophospitality.com), has announced that its restaurants will feature beers and burgers from around the world in honor of the 2012 Olympic Games. Home to a bevy of North Carolina-based brews, the restaurants will replace their local beer selections with globally-inspired taps. In addition, all participating restaurants will serve specially-crafted burgers, giving diners a culinary trip around the world. To celebrate the United States, restaurants will serve a $12 all-American 5-ounce burger, topped with a grilled Ball Park Frank hot dog, bacon, cheddar cheese, fried onion rings and barbeque. For fans of French cuisine, restaurants will serve a $14 10-ounce burger topped with St. Andre Tripel Crème, grilled portobello mushrooms, red onions and a red wine reduction. In honor of China, restaurants will serve a $13 10-ounce burger with cheese curds, french fries, chopped bacon and gravy. For Italy, restaurants will serve a $13 5-ounce burger with fresh mozzarella, fried basil, sopressata and a balsamic reduction. On behalf of South America, restaurants will serve a $13 5-ounce burger topped with Manchego cheese, chorizo sausage, roasted red peppers and chimichurri.
