New York, NY, August 08, 2012 --(PR.com
)-- Juan Pablo Gayoso Mogrovejo is a Peruvian photographer who came of age just prior to the analog to digital transition. The result is his sensitivity to both, producing ‘digitalized’ inkjet prints strongly linked to the image on film and the mechanics of the camera as artist instrument. His latest series ‘Marine’ interrogates Nature – specifically oceanic tropes – as a source of superior power, foregrounding the fragile and ephemeral nature of human existence.
Juan Pablo Gayoso Mogrovejo was born in Lima, Peru where he studied Biology and Photography. He currently lives and works in Lima.
