New Church of Scientology Under Construction in Los Feliz

Church of Scientology now under construction in Los Feliz is scheduled to open its new Hillhurst Ave. location in early 2013.

Los Feliz, CA, August 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Church of Scientology Mission of Los Feliz broke ground Wednesday at the site of its future location. Construction has now begun on what will become a two story classic Spanish-style building located on 2131 N. Hillhurst Ave, in the heart of Los Feliz.

This building project will be another step in the further beautification of Los Feliz by transforming a rundown parking lot into an attractive building that integrates with the current and classic look of this community.

The Church of Scientology has achieved an unprecedented level of expansion in the twenty-first century, now including some 10,000 Churches, Missions and affiliated groups across 167 nations.

Scientology Missions, such as the one under construction in Los Feliz, reach out into their communities to provide people with the solutions Scientology has to offer. Missions minister basic Scientology religious services including introductory courses.

Scientology Missions are located across the United States and from Russia to India, Canada to Chile and Ghana to Malaysia.

The Mission of Los Feliz, currently residing at 1934 N. Hillhurst Ave, plans to utilize their upcoming location to continue to welcome anyone in the Los Feliz community who wishes to find answers to life’s problems. They will also continue to partner with other like-minded organizations to lend their support to the local community. The new Church is expected to open its doors early 2013 with an opening celebration for the neighbors and residents of Los Feliz to come in and tour the new building.

Developed by author and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard, Scientology is a religion that offers a precise path leading to a complete and certain understanding of one’s true spiritual nature and one’s relationship to self, family, groups, Mankind, all life forms, the material universe, the spiritual universe and the Supreme Being.

Scientology comprises a body of knowledge which extends from certain fundamental truths and addresses the spirit-not the body or the mind.

Scientology further holds Man to be basically good, and that his spiritual salvation depends upon himself, his fellows and his attainment of brotherhood with the universe.

Scientology is not a dogmatic religion in which one is asked to accept anything on faith alone. On the contrary, one discovers for oneself that the principles of Scientology are true by applying its principles and observing or experiencing the results.
