New Prescription Discount Program Helps Uninsured

Hamilton, NJ, August 04, 2012 --(PR.com)-- HelpRx LLC is proud to launch a new free prescription discount card under its HelpRx Outreach Program to help uninsured or underinsured patients with their prescription drug costs.

“With the high cost of prescriptions, it is not unusual for patients to skip their medication because they can’t afford them,” said Stephen, one of the leading partners in the program. “This card does not provide free medication, but saving 15% to 80% off the full price gives the choice back to uninsured patients.”

The card, membership, and participation in the program are free. The plan is not insurance, and is not a Medicare prescription drug program, so there is no deductible and no waiting periods. Everyone qualifies for instant activation of the card, and there are no exclusions for pre-existing conditions.

“Unfortunately, there are many hoax programs out there that give this type of aid a bad name,” said Stephen. “HelpRx can offer its drug discount cards free because our pharmacy network partners support this program. It is a win – win; they fund the program every time someone fills a prescription using one of our cards. The patient gets an affordable rate on their medication, and our pharmacy partners get new patients who would have otherwise skipped their medication so they would make nothing.”

With over 66,000 national, regional and local pharmacies participating, the discount card can help patients all across the country. Patients can find a list of participating pharmacies in their area by visiting: http://bit.ly/Mt0Z3A, or through the “Find your local pharmacy” link on HelpRx’s website: www.bestfreedrugdiscountcard.com.

The program website offers access to the new card online, as well as articles on health tips, and how to save money on prescriptions

“With the introduction of the new HelpRx Outreach Program, HelpRx LLC is hoping to help as many people as possible afford their medication,” said Stephen.
