NOTEBLOX Begins Kickstarter Campaign

NOTEBLOX, the answer for sketchers who can’t give up their iPad, or iPad users who can’t give up their pencils, has moved from conception to Kickstarter.com, one step away from commercialization. Denver, CO, August 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- NOTEBLOX, the answer for sketchers who can’t give up their iPad, or iPad users who can’t give up their pencils, has moved from conception to Kickstarter.com, one step away from commercialization.

NOTEBLOX are the invention of Benjamin Diem, a computer-savvy architect and entrepreneur who won’t give up either his paper pad or iPad.

“I was always slipping my iPad into a notepad,” he said, “but it was always slipping out.”

The answer is NOTEBLOX, a 100-page bound notepad with 12 super magnets built into the binding that hold the iPad securely as well as a stylus or pen. Diem built the first prototype from a beer case, and the second batch was fabricated at the factory he will use if the Kickstart campaign is successful.

His announcement on http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1582711633/NOTEBLOX-magnetic-stackable-ipad-journal is looking for $15,000 in backing, enough to contract for 5,000 NOTEBLOX and begin distribution at leading universities. Among other things, success at Kickstarter.com will validate the idea that NOTEBLOX make sense.

The cardboard NOTEBLOX cover with its magnets perfectly synchronized with those in the iPad holds it securely for normal use, and twin elastic straps to further secure the iPad when traveling.

The magnets are strong enough to hold a journal on a refrigerator. Three or more NOTEBLOX together will stand vertically on a shelf or desk and not require book ends, held together with their magnets. Metallic pens, pencils and styluses are magnetically secure on the binding.

NOTEBLOX are for note-takers, writers, inventors, engineers, architects, graphic designers, chefs, doctors, auto mechanics, film makers, college students, illustrators, Kickstarters and creative people everywhere.
