Adirondack Wilderness Foundation Awards Scholarship to Moriah Central School Graduate

Natasha Pratt, a graduating Senior at Moriah Central School is the 2012 recipient of the Adirondack Wilderness Foundations' Annual scholarship.

Schuyler Falls, NY, August 06, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Each year, the Adirondack Wilderness Foundation offers an annual scholarship to any student residing or attending school in the Adirondack’s. The student needs to care about the environment or be studying some aspect of the field of environmentalism. Many applicants are received, but only one is chosen.

After reviewing all the applicants, Natasha Pratt, who graduated from Moriah Central School was chosen. She and her entire family are environmental activists. Ms. Pratt has been accepted at North Country Community College. She will start school this fall in the Nursing Program. Currently she works as a Nurse Aide at Elizabethtown Community Hospital.

The Adirondack Wilderness Foundation as an organization will continue to be an advocate for the environment through political activism and conservation education for the people of the Adirondack Park, while protecting the Parks wild lands and waters.
