The MISB National Business Quiz Ends with a Nail-Biting Final
The final round of the Mumbai International School of Business saw a tough fight between the 18 finalists and ended with Tushar Krishnan, Vinnel Kambala, and Vivek Gunawat from IIT Guwahati winning the quiz; and Nirma University emerging as the runner-up team.
Mumbai, India, August 11, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The final round of the Mumbai International School of Business’ National Business Quiz was held on Aug. 4, 2012, at MISB’s Hiranandani campus in Powai, Mumbai. Out of the 18 finalists, Krishnan, Vinnel Kambala, and Vivek Gunawat from IIT Guwahati won the visit to Bocconi University, Milan, Italy; and Nirma University were declared the runners up team.
Students from colleges like DCE, Delhi; NIT Jamshedpur; LJIET, Ahmedabad; D. Y. Patil, Pune; MOP Vaishnav, Chennai; Nirma University, Ahmedabad; PESIT, Bengaluru; BNMIT, Bengaluru also gave the quiz their best shot and saw to it that the quiz did not end up as an easy victory for the winning team. All the participants displayed a keen understanding of business sense, trends, and industry news.
The quizmaster, Mr. Kunal Savarkar, kept the participants and the audience on the edge of their seats with his quick questions, comments, and interactions.
The audience that witnessed this final round of the MISB National Business Quiz seemed to be enjoying the event and enthusiastically participated in the quiz when asked to do so. Govind Grewal, who works in the risk management section at HDFC, won himself the audience bumper prize. As a reward for answering the maximum number of questions from the audience, Govind went home with a brand new iPad.
"I believe we have achieved what we had set out to with the MISB National Business Quiz. Not only did we bring to light the business talent in India, but also gave it a global outlook," said Mr. Ravi Saxena, CEO, MISB Bocconi, on the occasion.
