Taylor Hicks Fan Charities Send Soldiers to Spartanburg Concert

Taylor's Angels and the Proud Of Our Troops drive have joined forces this summer to support U.S. troops through Taylor Hicks concerts.

Spartanburg, SC, June 28, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Taylor's Angels and the Proud Of Our Troops drive have joined forces this summer for an all out bash to support our troops. The festivities will begin on Friday, June 29, at the Red, White, and Boom festival in Spartanburg, SC. Over 100 soldiers from the Fort Jackson Army base will be attending this festival where American Idol winner Taylor Hicks will be performing in concert.

The Soul Patrol, from various Taylor Hicks fan websites, opened their hearts to donate the Spartanburg concert tickets to the soldiers at Fort Jackson. Coca-Cola also got involved and donated a beautiful banner commemorating the event. The banner will be proudly displayed outside the Fort Jackson base.

Taylor's Angels, located at http://www.taylorsangels.blogspot.com, is an organization that does charitable work that includes, but is not limited to, working within the communities where Taylor Hicks is performing. The Proud Of Our Troops drive, sponsored by Jewelry Sprout and located at
http://www.jewelrysprout.com/taylor-hicks-cd-drive.html, sends Taylor Hicks CD's to troops all over the world. Both charitable groups will continue to work together throughout the summer to send out troops all over the country to a night of enjoyable entertainment with Taylor Hicks.
