Triangle Grading and Paving Names Adam White Safety Training Officer and Assistant Safety Director

Former N.C. Department of Transportation Expert to Oversee Company Training Programs, Security Operations

Burlington, NC, August 19, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Jack Bailey, executive vice president of Triangle Grading And Paving, Inc. (http://www.trianglegradingandpaving.com), has announced that Adam White has been named corporate safety training officer and assistant safety director. In his role, White will enhance training programs for safety officers and clients, as well as help oversee all security operations on a routine basis to ensure that construction and maintenance efforts are performed in a safe and professional manner. White will visit job sites and perform safety inspections in order to uphold security and compliance measures established by Triangle, the N.C. Department of Transportation (NCDOT) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) on behalf of its employees. Other responsibilities will include reviews of the equipment and practices that are used by Triangle’s workers.

White graduated from East Carolina University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in industrial distribution and a minor in business administration. He previously worked at the NCDOT, as a field technician at Terracon and as a loss control consultant at SIA Group. White has several certifications in construction training, including a 500 and 501 Instructor and a Competent Person Training certification.

His appointment is part of Triangle Grading and Paving’s continuing efforts to improve its safety and health culture. Triangle holds quarterly companywide safety meetings and refresher training programs and conducts a weekly site inspection and audit program. It has instituted a company safety committee and employee incentive program. Triangle has hired a company safety director, added three risk management professionals, and rewrote the company health and safety policy manual and field safety book as part of its activities.
