NOAA Florida Tides Charts on Satellite Mapping Released for Android

New mobile software for Android provides Real-Time Florida Tides Charts from NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), Satellite maps, tide flow graphs and Florida Wildlife Commission Fishing Rules & Regulations and Fish Photo Identification.

Fort Myers, FL, August 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Tony Nestor, President at NesTides, Inc., has announced the release of their Satellite Map based NOAA Tides – Florida edition with FWC Fishing ID and Regulations for Android.

Frustrated with the lack of accurate tide tables for his beloved Southwest Florida fishing grounds and urged by other local fishing enthusiasts and professional guides, avid fisherman and veteran computer programmer Tony Nestor decided there had to be a better way for fishing enthusiasts to view tides and follow tidal movement and flow when fishing. After many hours of testing by friends all over the State, the result was NOAA Tides – Florida Edition. The software plots all 481 NOAA Tide Stations for the State of Florida on a satellite map and then zooms to a fisherman’s location using GPS to display live tide predictions directly from NOAA. Tide charts are just the beginning however, the software features the ability to view actual tidal flow between high and low tides, photo identification of every fish monitored by the Florida Wildlife Commission and actual up-to-date fishing regulations directly from the FWC.

The application has quickly risen to Google Play’s top tide application offering and enjoys a 5 Star rating. You can view screenshots and purchase the application here on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nestides.noaa.florida

Many customers have already benefited by deploying the Tides – Florida Edition by NOAA mobile software. By far the largest group, fishing guides are the fastest growing segment to install the Florida edition for their Android devices.

“NesTides ability to display tide predictions and actual tidal flow graphs allow me to extend fishing trips by following different tide station tide charts and moving with the tide flow. The satellite view allows me to explore and discover new fishing grounds I never knew existed. Absolutely the best fishing software tool I have ever used,” said USCG Captain Mike Ketchmark.

Key functionality includes:
• Advanced tide graphs allow for you to judge the level of water movement for optimal fishing between high and low tides for surrounding areas closest to your boat.
• Ability to forecast tides from NOAA by setting date and period for all Florida tides.
• Searchable FWC fishing regulations to keep you abreast of fishing rules and limits.
• Photo identification of every fish (inshore and offshore) found in Florida waters.
Incredibly detailed satellite mapping allowing for the careful inspection of fishing grounds.
