Stretch Enterprises Introduces GentlemansHomeBar.com--A Website Helping Men Revive the Lost Art of Drinking

Website is Half Blog--Teaching Its Readers How To Enjoy Fine Spirits and Mix Classic Cocktails, and Half Online Store--Making Hard-To-Find Cocktail Utensils Readily Available

Los Angeles, CA, August 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- James Bond’s famous ordering of a “Vodka Martini; shaken, not stirred,” has long captured the imaginations of men of all ages. But how many men actually order this famous cocktail, or know how to make one? What about the Old-Fashioned Cocktail which has gained popularity thanks to Mad Man, Don Draper? Chances are, any man who would want to make one of these doesn’t have the proper equipment with which to do so. For this reason, entrepreneur and distinctive drinking advocate, Patrick Eichhold built GentlemansHomeBar.com, a combination blog and online store where drinkers of all levels of expertise can find classic cocktail recipes, enjoyment and appreciation tips, and hard-to-find cocktail utensils.

“Many drinking-related websites serve aficionados of beer, wine, and spirits,” says Eichhold. “The jargon found on these sites is enough to make any aspiring distinctive drinker revert to his light beer drinking ways. The information and products we provide at GentlemansHomeBar.com can be appreciated by drinkers of all levels. In fact, the content of our site is written primarily for young adult men who are coming into their own. These young men may currently enjoy meeting friends or a date for drinks, but also know that there is more to drinking—in particular the finer points of drinking enjoyment and appreciation— than what they may have learned during their college years.”

Eichhold hopes that by educating themselves on the painstaking processes of beer and wine making and spirits distillation, men will have a greater appreciation and respect for the libations they enjoy, thus creating more responsible drinking.

GentlemansHomeBar.com’s online store serves two purposes: One is to educate its visitors on what some of the seldom-used (by today’s standards) utensils look like and how they are used. For example, in the page which lists the recipe for the Old-Fashioned cocktail which calls for Bitters, the visitor will find a link to another page on the site which explains what Bitters are, and why they should be on hand in a home bar. Secondly, the store allows the site’s visitors to easily acquire the items which will best suit the needs of their home bars.

Says Eichhold, “Anyone who visits GentlemansHomeBar.com will almost immediately gain valuable knowledge pertaining to the more refined side of drinking, and find home bar equipment that might not currently be popular among younger drinkers, but certainly have not gone out of style.”

The site’s store is currently running a clearance sale on some soon-to-be-discontinued whiskey decanters and glassware. Further information on these sale items can be found at GentlemansHomeBar.com.
