San Francisco Woman Publishes Memoir: With Vows Unspoken

San Francisco, CA, August 24, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Local resident and author, Lorraine Grassano has published a new book titled, “With Vows Unspoken.” The publication details the story of a woman who reunites with her first lover after 32 years, is smitten all over again, and feels compelled to fully remember and write about the unresolved past.

According to the author, “We were in our twenties. It was the 70s. We knew nothing of safe sex, safe-words. We were all experimenting. We were the experiment—a mixture of guilt, anger, passion, repressed memory, stardust—and it was volatile. I suppose all should be forgiven. But not forgotten.” She categorizes her work as memoir/gay history/erotica.

Grassano was born in Paterson, New Jersey in 1951 and graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Journalism. She has been an Acquisitions Editor for Spinsters/Aunt Lute Press and currently writes and copy edits for the Dream Network Journal. She has resided in San Francisco since 1979.

“With Vows Unspoken” (ISBN 978-1-300-02239-8) is immediately available in softcover and e-book editions from Lulu Press, Inc. Beginning in October, 2012, the title will also become available from most Internet booksellers nationwide.
