Prayer Rally - Sunday Night at the Springfield, MO City Hall
Springfield, MO, August 24, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Reclaiming Missouri for Christ will host a community prayer rally Sunday, August 26, at 7:30 p.m. at Springfield's Historic City Hall, 840 N. Booneville. This peaceful event is intended to encourage the Christian community to pray and unite in opposition to Springfield City Council Bill 2012-226.

According to the City of Springfield, this proposed city ordinance 2012-226 will add “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” to the list of protected classes in Springfield. The ordinance is scheduled to be voted upon by city council the following evening.

The prayer rally will include local area pastors who will lead in prayer and inform the community regarding the multiple dangers that threaten the future of Springfield if the proposed ordinance is passed.

Pastor Paul Blair, the current president of Reclaiming America for Christ, will be the key note speaker. All citizens of Springfield and surrounding communities are encouraged to attend.
