)-- R. “Gray” Kirkpatrick, vice president of Triangle Grading And Paving, Inc. (http://www.trianglegradingpaving.com), has announced that the company recently received an $8.8 million contract from the N.C. Department of Transportation to widen and resurface 1.4 miles of Glensford Drive in Fayetteville. In addition to widening Glensford Drive to four lanes with a grass median, three roundabouts will be constructed at the intersections of Belford, Montclair and Chambersburg roads. The project is scheduled to be completed by fall 2014.
“We are already underway with work on Glensford Drive and eager to finish it,” said Kirkpatrick. “With the additional lanes and roundabouts, the route will be much safer and less congested for transportation, and the surrounding community will be very pleased with the final result.”
