Local Business Competing in Premier World Competition

Elk Grove, CA, August 27, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The International Window Film Conference (IWFC) was first held in 2000 and in 2011 the International Window Film Association signed on as the co-sponsor of the event, along with WINDOW FILM magazine. The IWFC was created to provide an educational venue for film technicians, company owners, managers and suppliers to come and learn fromone another as well as industry experts. The IWFC is an international event providing unmatched learning experience to all who are involved. In addition to the seminars, the event is host to the International Window Film Tint-Offs™ – two divisions, an automotive and architectural, are held to showcase film technicians’ applications.

This year’s International Window Film Tint-Off™ – Automotive Division will host 55 contestants in the two-day competition.

The first-place winner of the Automotive Division will receive $10,000, a gold medal and trophy, as well as bragging rights as the “World’s Best Automotive Window Film Tinter.” Second place will receive $3,000 as well as a silver medal, and third will receive $1,000 and a bronze medal.

The preliminary heats of the Tint-Off Automotive Division will take place on Friday, September 21, during the IWFC Exhibition/Extravaganza at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Ky. The Automotive Division finals and the Architectural Division competition will be held Saturday morning during the Exhibition/Extravaganza and the winners will be announced Saturday evening at the Gala Awards Reception and Ceremony.
