New Harmony Soap Company is owned and managed by Jim & Stephanie Spann of New Harmony. The business is dedicated to the development of innovative and effective soaps and skin health products made of whole, nutrient-rich ingredients that heal, protect, and rejuvenate without the use of man-made chemicals and other synthetic substances.

"Like most Americans, Stephanie and I are deeply concerned about the increasing number of families unable to make ends meet,” explained Jim Spann. “The Mt. Vernon Food Pantry provides the most vital kind of support to adults and kids in our community and we're honored to be part of their mission. It'll be fun to see how many jars of peanut butter we can put on the Pantry's shelves."

For the first six months of 2012 the New Harmony Soap Company donated 5% of sales to Feeding America, the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief charity, with a network of members to supply food to more than 37 million Americans each year, including 14 million children and 3 million seniors.
