)-- Over 45 artists from 12 different countries in Latin America are set to present their pieces in the largest project to date bringing Hispanic art to Georgia including local artists Felix Berroa, Gilda Pedraza, Marga Gabarret and Jorge Arcos.
“Hispanoamericanos, Traveling Souls” is an unparalleled exhibit of large pieces in different formats and media led by Felix Berroa, a renown Dominican artist residing in Georgia. The exhibit has been curated by the Abernathy Arts Center in Sandy Springs and sponsored by the Fulton Arts and Culture Council.
The traveling exhibit will run from September 28, 2012 to October 30, 2012 and will take place at the Abernathy Arts Center, moving then to the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts in Valdosta and finally to The Jacqueline Casey Hudgens Center for the Arts in Duluth.
An opening reception will take place on October 5th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at the Abernathy Arts Center.
