Metal lovers worldwide can witness the exclusive worldwide premiere of Engel’s new video “Frontline” at NoiseCreep today. The song is featured on the forthcoming album, Blood Of Saints, due out on September 25th in North America via FrostByte Media. The video for “Frontline” was directed by Kristofer “Kriggs” Karlson, who previously collaborated with Engel on their last video, “Question Your Place,” and features dynamic live performance footage highlighting the propulsive rhythms, chilling twin guitar work and impassioned vocals that is Engel.
Produced by Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Hatesphere, Dark Tranquility), Blood Of Saints is already receiving rave reviews abroad where the album was released earlier this year. UK’s Powerplay declared, “This third album sees the band at the top of their game…heavy as hell and instantly memorable…absolutely killer production.” In other Engel news, the band will soon hit the road in Europe for a run of tour dates in September. Please see below for the itinerary.
Hailing from, Gothenburg, Sweden, Engel is the brainchild of In Flames guitarist Niclas Engelin. Fusing elements of death, thrash and progressive metal with electronica and industrial beats, Engel has distinguished themselves on the world stage with two critically-acclaimed international releases (2007’s Absolute Design and 2010’s Threnody) and relentless touring.
