The Orphan Grain Train: BenevolenceInc.com’s September Non-Profit of the Month

Hilo, HI, September 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- BenevolenceInc.com has announced that the Orphan Grain Train will be the online retailer’s September Non-Profit Organization of the Month. During the entire month of September, at least 50% of profits made by BenevolenceInc.com will be donated to the Orphan Grain Train.

The Orphan Grain Train is a nationwide network of predominantly Christian volunteers that aim to provide personal and material resources to those in need. The non-profit organization was founded in 1992 and since then the 18 regional branches have delivered more than 63 million pounds of humanitarian aid in more than 40 countries. Volunteers gather donations of clothing, medical supplies, food, literature, and other forms of assistance to distribute to destitute individuals around the world.

“We were impressed by the network of volunteers,” says Kelsie Ozeki, Director of BenevolenceInc.com. Ozeki adds, “A little kindness can go a long way and OGT states their mission so simplistically well - a word well spoken, a bandage well applied, and a child well fed.” Flyers reminding shoppers to donate and volunteer will be included with every order. Additional information regarding the Orphan Grain Train can also be found under the link “Non-Profit of the Month” on BenevolenceInc.com.

Each women’s apparel and beauty product listed on BenevolenceInc.com features a description that informs customers of exactly how much of their money will be donated to the Orphan Grain Train during the month of September. Donation amounts range from $0.50 for sale items with prices starting at $3.00 to a donation amount of $2.00 for regular priced items starting at $14.00.
