Australian Firm, Applications Developer, Buys Web Circle

Applications Developer Pty. Ltd., an Australian software firm buys Web Circle from Brisbane entrepreneur, Dan Norris.

Newcastle, Australia, September 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Corporate takeovers and acquisitions are not the domain of only the major players in business. On August 1, 2012, Applications Developer Pty. Ltd. took ownership of two successful websites from entrepreneur, Dan Norris of Brisbane. One site is www.awebsitedesigner.com.au, which delivers business blogs focused on web design and marketing. The other is www.webcircle.com.au, which aids small businesses in need of web design, mobile applications and optimisation services.

Alex Retzlaff, owner of Applications Developer, stated, "In the last year, our company has begun to expand not only in size, but also into new markets, like software for the mining industry." Earlier this year, the company began a software project for the international mining company, Anglo American.

This acquisition frees Applications Developer to concentrate on its core business of enterprise-level software development. Smaller web-based projects have been delegated to the new Web Circle division.

The former owner, Mr. Norris, commented that he will be concentrating on new business endeavours. He will also contribute an occasional blog article as part of the transition.
