Rotorcraft Pro Media Network Expands Editorial Content

Rotorcraft Pro magazine announces two additional contributors and features.

Birmingham, AL, September 06, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Randy Mains is Columnist for “My 2-cents Worth”. Each month he expounds upon whatever helicopter-related issues he wishes. And with 44 years and over 13,000 flight hours in the industry, he has a lot of experience on which to draw. Mains' rotorcraft career has spanned the globe from the United States, Vietnam, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Iran, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and points in-between. He has flown everything from combat missions to emergency medical flights, from training pilots to seismic surveys. Mains’s degrees in journalism and creative writing from San Diego State University show in his writing and he has published three helicopter industry books.

Steve Goldsworthy is Correspondent for “Meet A Rotorcraft Pro”, Rotorcraft Pro’s monthly Q & A feature that seeks out and shares the stories of professionals leaving their mark in the helicopter industry. Goldsworthy is a FAA commercial pilot based in Los Angeles, where he serves as a board member and event chairman for the Professional Helicopter Pilots Association --- one of five boards on which he serves. As a former town councilman, Goldsworthy has always exhibited a civic streak and is currently a member of the LA County Sheriff’s Montrose Search & Rescue Team. He has flown 13 different helicopter models, but there’s still a few more on his “bucket list” including the Sikorsky S58. He’s also a licensed aircraft dealer and manages helicopter leases to operators.

Editor In Chief, Lyn Burks, welcomes both writers as regulars to Rotorcraft Pro. “Our editorial mission for the magazine is to provide interesting, informative, and entertaining copy that captures our audience’s attention and leaves them looking forward to the next issue,” he said. “With Randy and Steve, we’ve added a pair of writers who are spectacularly succeeding in that mission. We’re thrilled they’re on board, and from the feedback we’re receiving, so are our readers.”
