William Peace University Presents Theatre and Performing Arts Events for Fall 2012 Season

Local Four-Year Baccalaureate University to Host Music Concert and Performing Arts Events as Part of Upcoming Performances

Raleigh, NC, September 09, 2012 --(PR.com)-- William Peace University (http://www.peace.edu), a private four-year university located in downtown Raleigh, has announced its upcoming theatre and performing arts events taking place on campus during the fall 2012 semester. William Peace Theatre will kick off its season with Annie Baker’s Circle, Mirror, Transformation, a drama that won the 2009 Obie Award for Best New American Play. The performance will run from Wednesday, Sept. 19 through Saturday, Sept. 22 and again from Wednesday, Sept. 26 through Saturday, Sept. 29 at Kenan Hall.

Following the theatre’s fall debut, the Manning Chamber Music Concert season opener and reception will be held Monday, Oct. 29 at Kenan Hall. William Peace Theatre will present its first musical of the season, Godspell, a parable on the life of Jesus Christ featuring the international hit “Day By Day,” from Wednesday, Oct. 31 through Saturday, Nov. 3 and again from Wednesday, Nov. 7 through Saturday, Nov. 10. All presentations will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The music concert is free, but reservations are required and can be made at https://wpeaceu.wufoo.com/forms/seating-reservations-manning-chamber-music-series. Theatre tickets are free to William Peace University students with ID and will be available in discounted rates for all other university students, staff, faculty and their families. Costs for the general public will be $15 for the drama and $20 for the musical in advance.
