Leawood, KS, September 09, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Keyhole Software has announced the release of version 1.2.0 of the khsSherpa framework. khsSherpa, an open source JSON endpoint framework for Mobile and HTML5 support, now provides Spring Support. Version 1.2.0 is publicly available in the Maven Public Central Repository and on gitHub.

khsSherpa is a lightweight framework that enables Java application servers to turn into remote JSON data access mechanisms for HTML5 / Javascript Mobile and Web applications. The intent of the khsSherpa framework is to invoke service side Java classes and execute methods that are members of this endpoint. Features of the framework include annotation-based endpoint configuration, authentication, session support, pluggable user activity logging, RESTful service URL mappings, and the ability to work with any JEE Application Server.

Keyhole Software frequently works with clients in the utilization process of new technologies. As HTML5 and Mobile Development have increasingly become larger pieces of Keyhole's enterprise service requests, team members have gained extensive experience in the effective design, development, and deployment of these technologies. As proponents of open source software, Keyhole technologists like to share the tools that have become integral in their professional technical toolbelts with the external development community.

"HTML5 is such an important tool in the future of mobile, web, and desktop development," Project Lead David Pitt said. "Open Source tools like khsSherpa have the ability to help development projects avoid the pitfalls in the utilization process. We hope other developers will find our most recent updates helpful in their projects."
