Deteriorating Global Water Infrastructure Means Big Business for Water Sector Participants

Water-Stocks.com Podcast with Bill Brennan, President & Managing Partner of Aqua Terra Asset Management & Senior Portfolio Manager of the Praetor Global Water Fund, Discusses the Launch of the New Kinetics Water Infrastructure Fund

Point Roberts, WA, July 04, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Water-Stocks.com, an investor and industry portal for the water sector, presents an investor podcast with Mr. Bill Brennan, President & Managing Partner of Aqua Terra Asset Management and Senior Portfolio Manager of the Praetor Global Water Fund, to discuss the launch of the Kinetics Water Infrastructure Fund.

The American Society of Civil Engineers estimates that in the United States alone water infrastructure will require over $1 trillion in repairs by 2025. In an effort to take advantage of investment opportunities associated with rectifying problems of deteriorating global water infrastructure, Aqua Terra has teamed up with Kinetics Asset Management to create the Kinetics Water Infrastructure Fund, which became available to investors June 29th, 2007. The fund will focus on global companies involved in water infrastructure.

The companies contained in the fund, according to Bill Brennan, will be diversified into sub-sectors within the water business and also geographically so that all major continents and water sub-sectors will be represented in the fund.

“Within this fund we will have the ability to capitalize on country specific water sub-sector themes and events. We will be able to see and take advantage of events around the globe where water scarcity requires the need for new water technology, desalination, and an increase in infrastructure in regards to pipes, water metering and things of this nature,” explains Brennan.

Brennan believes that a key differentiator separating this fund from other water funds is the collective experience that the fund managers have across a number of different positions and aspects of the water industry in operational, engineering and fundamental financial roles.
