CycleTrainingFrance.com Offers New Scenic Cycling Weeks in South West France

Cyclists can experience their own late summer cycling challenge through France and the largest forest in western Europe.

Aquitaine, France, September 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Cycle Training France is offering a new "Forest Centre Autumn Special" for cyclists with trails through scenic forests in South West France. Well maintained trails lead through dense forests, past large sand dunes, and along the slopes of the distant Pyrenees.

The cost for a full week with full board is priced at L345. Details online at http://cycletrainingfrance.com/cyclingholidays.htm

"We have priced this fantastic week of cycling very aggressively. The low price enables many more cyclists to enjoy our spectacular location in South West France," said Peter Saborowsky, owner of Cycle Training France.

Cycling trails include thousands of kilometers of well-kept tarmac roads that see very few automobiles. There are also hundreds of cycle routes that have been constructed. Much of the tarmac was recently renewed and widened.

Cycling enthusiasts come from all over Europe and North America. Participants stay at Forest Centre in Aquitaine, France. Bungalows in the vast grounds are surrounded by swimming pools, tennis courts, soccer fields and other sporting facilities.

The area is known among cyclists for its four distinct landscapes: trails through dense forests, along Atlantic beaches, past spectacular snow-capped mountains, and through France's famous Basque Country.

"This is the France cyclists always picture. Rural, great scenery and very little automobile traffic," Saborowsky said. "Besides, this is the best time of the year and agreeably warm and sunny."

Saborowsky, an Olympic rower and serious cyclist, began organising sporting groups here in 1997. He fell in love with the region's picturesque scenery and tranquil waterways. Previously professional cyclists had discovered the area and started a buzz among the sport's elites.

While most participants stay a week, some come for longer, making the Forest Centre their long term training location. "We have plenty of room and can accommodate everyone from individuals to groups," Saborowsky said.

Cycle Training France's "Forest Centre Autumn Special" continues now through October 15. Reservation information is available at cycletrainingfrance.com.
