The Seventh Annual Organizing Awards Have Been Moved to January 2013
Los Angeles, CA, September 19, 2012 --(PR.com)-- What was formerly known as the 2012 Organizing Awards will now be called the Seventh Annual Organizing Awards. Due to unforeseen circumstances the awards needed to be rescheduled. The awards will take place on January 26, 2013 during the annual Get Organized Month. The awards will honor outstanding achievements and contributions to the organization and productivity profession, and to recognize professional organizers, organizing retailers, organizing products services and resources, charities, technology providers, authors and the media. Trish Suhr formerly of “Clean House” will be hosting the awards.

At the last Organizing Awards event, OfficeMax was the presenting sponsor and 200 organizers and friends of the organizing industry gathered to present 24 awards. The celebrity host was Lisa Ann Walter (Dance Your Ass Off) and industry luminaries such as Dorothy Breininger and Peter Walsh were in attendance.

The nominees for the Organizing Awards are determined by nominations that are open to the public. Voting is open to all members of the National Association of Professional Organizers. In 2011, over 4300 votes were collected during the voting period. For the complete list of award recipients, visit http://www.napola.org.
