Cathy Purple Cherry Hired by the Ernie Els for Autism Foundation

Annapolis, MD, September 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Cathy Purple Cherry has been hired by the Ernie Els for Autism Foundation to serve as a Special Needs Architect for The Els Center of Excellence project in Florida. The Els Center of Excellence will provide an educational program for children on the autism spectrum ranging in age from 5 – 21 years old. This will be a state of the art facility that will provide educational programs in the United States as well as a focus on global digital learning. Cathy Cherry stated, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to use my skills as a Special Needs Architect to design a school environment that will foster thoughtful learning and peaceful learning for these special people. My goal is to design spaces that promote independence and create opportunities to empower these students.”
