Meeting Increased Compliance Requirements with GovReports

Sydney, Australia, September 25, 2012 --(PR.com)-- According to the lodgement program, from 1st July 2013, tax practitioners need to be registered with the Tax Practitioner Board (TPB), to submit electronic lodgements and achieve on time lodgement performance of 85% of client base. For newly registered tax practitioners, submitting electronic lodgements is a mandatory requirement since 1st July 2012.

Reporting via paper is a huge waste of manpower for ATO and as such over the years the tax authorities have been looking to increase electronic lodgements and reduce paper wastage. Unfortunately prior to GovReports many tax practitioners had the option of ECI or their agent portal for reporting and these have been often unstable.

GovReports simplifies and reduces the reporting burden to ensure that tax practitioners are highly compliant with the requirements of the TPB. Here are some features of GovReports to increase electronic lodgements performance.

MYOB and Reckon file integration can reduce BAS lodgements to as little as 3 minutes per client. (Xero and SaaSu integration coming soon)
Reminders and due dates for lodgement.
Integrated BAS reports with client authority forms.
PDF reports can be emailed to clients.
Historical archives of lodgements for compliance.

With GovReports access to client reports is available securely on the cloud allowing tax practitioners access anytime and anywhere with Internet access.
