Chris Hendricks Band to Perform at the Chef’s Academy’s Triangle Chef Showdown Sept. 27

Raleigh Band to Participate in Second Annual Event to Provide 100,000 Meals for Area Food Bank as Part of Hunger Action Month

Raleigh, NC, September 27, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Chris Hendricks Band (http://www.chrishendricksband.com), a rock band based in Raleigh, N.C., has announced that it will perform at The Chef’s Academy’s Second Annual Triangle Chef Showdown on Thursday, Sept. 27. The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Chef’s Academy’s Morrisville, N.C. campus at 2001 Carrington Mill Blvd. The Chris Hendricks Band will play a live show for event guests while four incredibly talented and well-known chefs participate in a fierce cooking competition. During the competition, chefs will battle for votes from attendees with all proceeds helping to provide 100,000 meals for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern Carolina. The event is free to attend. Each vote during the competition will cost $1 and all proceeds will be donated to the food bank. Attendees can support the food bank by bringing canned food donations as well.
