)-- Checkfront Inc., an online booking system for tours, activities and rentals has launched a suite of mobile apps that allow businesses to directly manage their operations while on the go.
"Our new Apps allow merchants real time access to their bookings from handheld and tablet devices," says Jason Morehouse, Co-Founder & CTO. "With a swipe of your finger you can view bookings for a given day, communicate with staff and update the status of a booking. The in-app barcode reader allows instant scanning of booking receipts to verify and check-in a customer on arrival."
The mobile Apps are available for the iPhone & iPad in the Apple App store, and Android devices in the Google Play store.
"The team at Checkfront are firm believers that a native mobile offering is essential to any cloud service," says Grant Jurgeneit, Co-Founder & CEO. "Our customers work in many diverse locations and require insight into their business at all hours of the day. How can you operate your business without access to your key data with you? We have seen seasonal customers make substantial increases in profits if they can manage volumes and quickly process rentals or tours on their peak times. As a response to our customers requests this release delivers a rapid check in and out tool. We still encounter operators that literally keep a paper notebook with them wherever they go. I believe they are missing opportunities to run their business better, and Checkfront is here to offer a simplified and dynamic solution."
Checkfront integrates into popular CMS products including Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla and extends into other Saas services such as Google Apps, Xero and Salesforce.
As a fully managed solution, Checkfront includes automated updates, backups and industry leading security on a high speed, high availability network. It has support for 32 currencies, multiple payment gateways such as Paypal, Authorize.net and Sagepay.
Checkfront offers a free 21 day trial. It operates on a Software-as-a-Service model and changes a subscription fee from $49 USD per month. It does not charge a transaction or commission fee on bookings.
