Pittsburgh, PA, September 29, 2012 --(PR.com)-- South Hills Chrysler Jeep Kia is excited to announce their participation in the first annual Roughneck Fest taking place Sunday October 14th at the Washington County Fair Grounds. The day-long charitable event, organized by the Carrick Community Boxing Academy and benefiting The Pennsylvania Firefighter's Athletic League, celebrates Washington Pennsylvania, the “Energy Capital of the East,” as well as the community’s hardworking oil and gas industry employees.

The testosterone laden event will feature live entertainment, competitive events, and plenty of food and drink. Bands from around the area, including The Steve Smith Band and Ruby Red & The Dirty Devils, will be performing throughout the day. Attendees can test their skill on the mechanical bull or join one of the many competitive events like the Rib and Chili Cook-Offs or the Strong Man Competition. Kids will enjoy the activities taking place at the Kids Korral while the main event will feature an Amateur Boxing competition.
