Fort Lauderdale, FL, October 04, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Spirit Incentives, designers of innovative travel incentives and benefits products, announced that Christina Lopez, Director of Marketing, and Ilene Youngblood, National Account Executive, attended an-in depth seminar and successfully completed the certification conducted at the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) regional conference in Branson, MO.

The ARDA Supplier Certification Seminar “offers concise education tailored to meet the needs of suppliers of both goods and services to the timeshare industry. The course addresses the basics of the industry and timeshare-specific terms, as well as the characteristics of timeshare buyers, trends and legal issues. An in-depth look at the timeshare project lifecycle, reserve funding and refurbishment schedules are included.”

In addition to attending the ARDA Supplier Certification Seminar, Lopez and Youngblood participated in the ARDA WIN (Women In the Industry) conference. The goals of WIN are to “encourage and assist in the recognition of achievements and education of Women, to assist with Community and Philanthropic activities and to provide opportunities for networking and support.” Opening with a compelling conversation on mentorship was Spirit Incentives’ own Clayton Gring, Vice President of Strategic Business Development, the conference was a networking event for professionals in the industry, both women and men alike.

“Being a new member to the timeshare industry, this conference offered me the opportunity to learn more about ARDA and the work and education they offer to members of its organization. In meeting other ARDA members I was also able to connect and learn from a great group of timeshare executives that are immersed, engaged and have a desire to share their industry knowledge with me,” remarked Lopez. “In return that exchange will enable Spirit Incentives to better predict where timeshare and vacation club is going and what their future needs will be as it relates to incentives, customer acquisition and membership retention.”
