Google Map's Street View is Coming to Staten Island from 10/8/12 to 10/31/12

Google Maps is taking Street View to the Inside of Businesses with a new program called "Google Business Photos" -- the public can look at the inside of a business online with a Google Virtual Tour.

Staten Island, NY, October 11, 2012 --( Google Maps Street View is coming to Staten Island October 8-31 to photograph the interiors of qualified business locations.

Google Maps is now bringing Street View Inside Businesses with a brand new program. The official title for the program is "Google Business Photos" and it allows the public the look around at the inside of a business as they search and shop online. According to Anthony from Black Paw Photo, a Certified Google Trusted Photographer, only a limited number of businesses can participate during this visit. Business owners who are interested should register themselves online as soon as possible in order to participate in this unique opportunity.

The Full Cup Cafe and Bar, a popular local night spot, is one of several local businesses in Staten Island that have already participated in Google Business Photos. To see a complete list of businesses in Staten Island that have added the service and to register a business, please visit:

Using Google's Street View technology, Black Paw Photo's team of Certified Google Photographers create an interactive, 360-degree Virtual Tour of a business location beginning on the street and proceeding throughout the establishment. The Virtual Tour works just like Google Street View, but shows the interior of the business. It provides an interactive experience for customers - they can click through, pan 360 degrees up and down, and also zoom in on products, decorations, and signs for a closer look. The Google Business Photos service also includes a set of professional high resolution photographs. The Virtual Tour and set of photos are all published on a business owner's Google+ Local page, Google Maps, and on Google Search.

To further increase the exposure for the business, the tour is fully embeddable on a Business Owner's website or their Facebook Page. This is possible by simply copying and pasting the code available on Google Maps. Android mobile device users can also access the Street View Virtual Tour for a Business through the Google Maps App.

According to Anthony from Black Paw Photo, "Customers will first find your business by 'Googling it.' Why not make the strongest first impression possible if that's where they're going to find you? The Virtual Tour gives business owners the opportunity grab and keep a customer's attention. Google adds new 'See Inside' icons that invite people to take the Virtual Tour. This makes the experience of finding your business intimate and personal. What's better than inviting a customer in for a look around? Especially when it's from the comfort of their own homes."

"This is a wonderful investment for business owners because it keeps changing and adapting. Google is always releasing new features through Google Maps and Google Search for businesses that have a this new Virtual Tour. This adds value to the business owners long after they make the decision to participate in this program."

Visit to register your business to participate in this program during Black Paw Photo's visit to the Staten Island area between October 8-31. You may also contact Black Paw Photo at (917)574-7292. Only a limited number of business can be included during their trip to the area. Service will be based on scheduling availability.
