)-- According to the scenario an explosion caused by a gas leak at the kitchen of the hotel’s main restaurant "Cosmos" initiated a fire episode. All guests had been informed and participated voluntarily at the procedure without any anxiety or panic.
At 11:00am after the explosion took place, the Maintenance department and the Hotel Manager were informed immediately and as they ascertained, in the context of the scenario, that the fire was unregulated, they decided to evacuate the hotel. The Police Department and the Municipality lice in coordination with the hotel’s trained Fire Safety Team, evacuated immediately the surrounding area of the hotel and all the rooms and common areas.
