Creative Agency Jovenville’s Profile Rises with a Record Six Trophies from AIGA
Jovenville and subsidiary agency We The Creative are on a hot streak: they nabbed six awards at the Orange County Design Awards on September 20, 2012. Industry heavyweight AIGA holds the ceremony every year to honor excellence in various categories and disciplines within advertising, design, branding and marketing.
Newport Beach, CA, October 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The (lengthy) list of awards that went to Jovenville is as follows: Gold in package design for the Jovenville July Fore! golf tournament invite; Gold in print design for the Jovenville “muystache” self promo; Gold in motion graphics for the John Wayne Airport Interactive Annual Report; another Gold in web design for the report; Silver in brand identity for a logo for OC dodgeball team The Ballbarians; and the JWA Annual Report took “Best in Show” in the interactive category.
Jovenville principal and creative ringleader Joven Orozco says the wins are gratifying, considering the agency’s beginnings. “We’ve been able to make a successful transition from doing simply print and logo design to being a full-service agency that can produce exciting interactive, web, social marketing and comprehensive campaigns for our clients,” Orozco said. “Since we stay on the cutting-edge of technology and excellent design, I really think that we can put our clients in the position of ‘If you can dream it, we can do it,’” he said.
After the awards show, Orozco and his staff immediately started getting bids from contractors on building a bigger mantel that can accommodate the dozens of awards the agency wins every year.
