"Night Warning" Playing in NYC & Star Jimmy McNichol Reminisces About Working with Susan Tyrrell & William Asher

A rare screening of the film 'Night Warning" in New York City, causes reminiscing by the cast and crew.

New York, NY, October 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Jimmy McNichol and his production company Aurora Entertainment, may be preparing for his album release next year, but he is also looking forward to getting back in front of the camera. While practicing with his band, McNichol reminisced about some of his most favorable film experiences. "Definitely, working with Susan Tyrrell and William Asher on the movie 'Night Warning' was a highlight," Jimmy said.

A rare, onetime screening of "Night Warning" took place on October 13th, 2012 at the 92nd Street Y (Tribeca), 200 Hudson Street, New York NY 10013 (212) 601-1000.

"Night Warning" is a 1982 exploitation horror film directed by William Asher; it was nominated for a Saturn Award for the Best Horror Movie of 1982 by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror. The late William Asher was a legendary television and film producer, director, and screenwriter. He was one of the most prolific early television directors; producing or directing over two dozen series, including I Love Lucy and Bewitched. The late Susan Tyrrell was an American actress, known for her Best Supporting Actress Oscar-nominated performance as Oma in Fat City, and for her role as Ramona Rickettes in the John Waters film Cry-Baby.

Early next year, Aurora Entertainment will be releasing McNichol's tell-all book, "Triple Threat," and also, McNichol will be on a concert tour of his forthcoming album. Notably, “Night Warning,” is about to be released on DVD. Additionally, Jimmy McNichol will be making a one-time personal appearance for autographs & photos at “The Hollywood Show” taking place at the Westin LAX in Los Angeles on January 12th & 13th. Jimmy McNichol heads Aurora Entertainment and is currently an active philanthropist, environmentalist, and a successful real estate developer, who is looking forward to making his comeback to the entertainment industry later this year.
