ReproTech President Discusses FDA Regulations and Embryo Donation at Nursing Symposium

ReproTech, Ltd., a cryobank specializing in long-term storage of human reproductive tissue (sperm, eggs, embryos and ovarian and testicular tissue), was invited to speak to infertility and OB/GYN medical professionals at Reproductive Medicine and Infertility Associates’ 2012 Fall Nurse Symposium.

St. Paul, MN, October 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- ReproTech President Russ Bierbaum discussed Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines for the donation of tissues, and ReproTech’s Embryo Donation Program at RMIA's Woodbury location. Bierbaum reported that for many couples, their only hope of achieving a full-term pregnancy begins with donated embryos. When continued storage of embryos is no longer practical, some couples will choose to destroy their embryos, while some feel the best choice is to donate their embryos to help other couples achieve pregnancy. ReproTech can facilitate this donation process. ReproTech also offers several Embryo Donation for Research options, and has established relationships with programs across the U.S. which are involved in many different types of research, from basic laboratory research to genomics research to stem cell research.
